Default Windshield Advice for a 07 Sporty Low

Ok, here is the first of my "I need..." questions for my fellow Sporty lovers...

I just picked up my baby last weekend and rode her to work for the first time today. I am fine until I hit 75mph on the highway (not that I did, because that's illegal :-)) After that the wind was just too much and I felt like I was going to blow off the bike.

I looked into windhields at the stealership but I hope to find something less expensive. First question is : where? does anyone have any quick release windhields (the ones that attach to forks) they wanna get rid off.

Second: How do I know how tall it should be? I know its kind of trial and error thing, but I would rather not buy 5 different winshdhields before I find the right one. I am short, only 5'3" and when I went to the dealership the guy told me I need 14" - does that make sense to you guys?

I'm a short too! I have the 14" HD quick release compact windshield (58602-04). It's tall enough to offer good protection but not so tall that I am forced to look through the shield.

When I got my 1200L, it had the taller, 18" HD quick release shield- too tall for me. I like to be able to just look over the top of the shield. So, I ordered the 14" replacement lexan from HD and just swapped out the lexan from 18" to 14".

So, 14" makes sense to me.
