Default Need Comments on a dyno run

Not sure I like the way the AFR is bouncing around. Any comments?

First run was done with stock bike and 2:1 Bobcat exhaust and NRHS AC.

Did it get tuned that way, or is that just a baseline run? I am not a Dyno tuning expert, but that just doesn't seem right to me.

Blue is base with the AC and pipes but stock tune. Red is the final tune

It's not often that a dyno tune results in a loss of both torque and HP.
It looks to me like Red was the baseline (check date & time of the pulls).

Says right on the file that the red is the D&D 2-1 baseline and the blue is the tune.

The smoothing is pretty low so all of the lines will appear choppy. I personally prefer to see that rather than have the smoothing set on 90 so it looks all pretty. Just my personal preference though.

What matters is the area under the curve (TQ). As long as you are improving that you are bound to be happy(ish).

How does it run now compared to before?

DOH. Red was the run the day before and blue is current.

Seems to be improved but I wish I had a purely stock run.

It seems to run without the hesitation or the strangulated feeling.

What I am worried about is the AFR bouncing from 2500 rpm to 2600 and back up to 4000 and then settle by 5000

* There are many, many people here far more experienced with H-D's than me. I do not claim to be any sort of an expert with these bikes, or anything mechanical to begin with. My dynamometer experience comes from the automotive racing world and my tuning ability is limited though I understand more than the average person. With that said:

It appears to be a shifted and smoothed out version of stock tuning with a richer run up top. I don't see a point myself where you are having a "serious" issue with AFR.

I'm assuming you haven't changed anything else but the pipe? 2-1's will shift the curve upward in the RPM range, which I also prefer, though some folks love to have their TQ as low in the range as possible.

Seems extremely lean to me in the midrange there, looks to have an effect on performance too? Trouble going open loop? Curious myself. These typical 883 numbers? You got some of the best numbers producing parts on there, but they seem a little low to me.

I don't see any mention of a tuner being installed on the bike. What was done between the baseline and final run, a stage 1 remap? With a decent tuner, you should be able to improve the swings in the A/F ratio in the midrange.
