tire pressure

No one has mentioned this but when you run higher PSI in a tire you reduce the size of the contact patch, personally, when a range is recommended I'd go for the lowest number.
I used to ride a MAICO that had a 2.5x21 knobby on the front, my ridin buds teased me about my 21 inch razor blade but that thing cornered like it was on rails.

This is my first post so I'm sorry if I step on any toes or am out of line. I am a motor officer in Texas so I ride every day unless it's raining which isn't much here. I train almost daily and compete in motorcycle rodeos, and have found that 42 psi works best for me. I seem to have better control on the courses (low speed) with much faster transition speeds (floor board to floor board). I agree with the lower psi listed in the other posts if you are in it for comfort on the highway. All that said....If you run too high or too low psi you WILL high side if you ride hard and aggressive. I have also found that a lot of tires lose about a pound a week if you ride a lot so check your psi regularly. I check mine twice a week. Again I apologize if I'm out of line.
