Haven't used a key for a very long time. Push buttons and toggle switches, and a suicide clutch & hand shift for theft deterrent, LOL.
Yep-- pushbutton on starter hidden by exhaust pipe + no switches on the bars + no front brake + left hand throttle + foot clutch + hand shift = my bike stays where I last parked it.

My BMW airhead was stolen. It was 6 yrs old and had 65K on it. The drive shaft u joint was vibrating so I knew it was about due for replacement, again.
Insurance company cut me a check for $1000 less than I paid for it.
I had some mighty nice rides on that bike.
No keyed ignition on my sporty. Replaced it with a hidden toggle switch when I relocated the coil. I carry a padlock in my tool bag if I feel the need to lock it up. However, most stolen bikes are simply tossed in the back of a truck.
