I have had to wait a bit longer for my custom, and I do not have it yet, but Ed finished it today and sent me a picture before he shipped it. I am pretty stoked how it turned out, just what I wanted.

Send him an e-mail, he is awesome to work with. He told me he was going to start using the pattern from mine as an option with color choices. I am sure certain things would cost more, but he will let you know.

Mine was $129 shipped. You can pick what you want, get color choices and a quality seat (from all the e-bay feedback). Tough to beat at that price, leather is a $50 upcharge.

Glad you guys like the seats, I really enjoy mine and get alot of complements on the look.
As far as custom I think from what I have seen on his site the sky is the limits. He has a picture of a seat on a bike with a stripe on the tank, seat has a stripe that matches... Kinda cool.

i also want to get a new seat for me, i wanted to know if the gel option is needed or not. Will it make a lot of difference or not??

 

OK, I cut out of work for about 30 min (work from home), and went for a short ride.

Are you kidding me? This seat is sooo much better than the stock one. I am a small dude, only weigh about 140, but this thing is amazing. I just felt more planted in the seat, used to bounce a bit on the stocker.

I went down a known bumpy road, lots of cracks and such, and I am telling you it is so much better, must be the foam, cause it is lower profile yet a way better ride. This is one of those things that increases the joy in riding, is good quality, inexpensive, looks great, can't beat it.

I may very well order another one. Ed is the man...
