Default 8" Z Bars and Cables replacement on 48 questions

Good Day, I've riding with a HD drag bar on my 48, I totally love the looks, but my back is killing me, so I'm thinking about getting an 8" Z bar, I like the Lick's 90 degree angle style ( I don't like the curved or Z style), any ones have these bars installed, can you post pictures. besides Lick's are there any other brands recommended? should I get the one with indent/dimpled? can I use the same cables? if not where can I get these cables? or should I just bring it to the shop and have them worry about the cables and installation?

I am a newbie, so I have a lot of questions, thank you very much for your sharing. Have a good one everyone.

This is how my 48 looks now:

8" narrow / slightly pinched Z bars, which I can sell you w/ pre internal wired / chromed.

Slightly pinched? can you post picture, or email it to whiteteeshirt@yahoo.com

no prob man. they are called CAPITAL Z Bars, by No school choppers:

and here are the pics. they are the exact specs you posted, but slightly narrower than the licks. which looks better IMO.

mine are 10" Z bars from Licks. I love them! I would recommend getting a new brake cable from Magnum Shielding. They have a "build your own" steal braided kit for $55. It comes in a 6ft line that you will cut down to about 32". I used 90 degree banjo bolts. You can use the stock throttle and clutch cables.

+1 on Magnum for your brake line. I replaced my stock bars on '09 Iron with R6C 8" Z bars and Magnum brake line.

Gotta fix my cable length I said. It is more like 43" not 32" like I said in my earlier post.
