Here it is. Finally finished. I actually painted it three times. The first two times I screwed something up. I was going with a satin black. It never would harden. Not sure why. So this time I went with a gloss. It's charcoal grey. It's actually a Chevy color. I'll post some pictures once I get the tank emblems on. I tried once to put them on. Only to F the first one up. So I had to trash it and order it again. I pick it up tomorrow. I'll try to post some better pics later in the week.

What kind of Satin paint were you trying to use?

I am getting ready to paint everything but my tank in satin black. I am going to use VHT hood, bumper and trim paint in satin black. It is a polyurethane paint so it should be very durable...

Here is a picture after I added the emblems. It's more centered than it looks. The light makes it look off center.

 

Looks nice. But, it kinda looks blue to me.

What emblems are those, 1200 Custom or Dyna SG maybe?
