Default brake rotors on a new wheel

I just bought a new 19" 6 spoke harley wheel on e-bay. while I was there I was looking at new brake rotors. the brake rotor sight didn't say anything about sportster rotors. so I went to the h-d sight and found different rotors for all the different wheels h-d comes out with.
does anyone know if the stock rotorthat was on my stock wheel will fit on my new wheel. I thinking it should but now i'm courious. I been to sights that people have changed from a 21" to a 19", but nobody ever said they had to change thier rotor
thanks

rbcss: The old rotor will fit.....probably. Only way to find out is to take it off the 21 in. and put it on the 19 in. wheel and try it on the bike. You would not have to mount a tire at this time.

If you could post the ebay site where you bought the wheel, perhaps I could tell from that for sure. ...... BC

the part number for this wheel is 43922-02. it fits 2000 xl and later. if you look on e-bay harley 19" wheels there is a pic of the 6 spoke chrome wheel.
thanks

I went the other way from a 19 inch to a 21 inch.... I had to replace mine, but worked out cause I went all chrome on my wheels. I don't know anything about bikes really so I can't answer your question, just telling you what I had to do.

rbcss: I looked at the eBay listing and I am sure that your existing rotor will work just fine. The question is "is this wheel for one or two rotors?" In other words what does the other side look like? Even if it is for dual rotors, you would only have to put torx screws in the offside extra holes to dress it up a little. Very nice looking wheel IMHO. This would be a great time to go to a chromed floating rotor instead of the OEM and get better braking along with better looks.

I looked in my '04 H-D Accessories book and it was not listed, so I assume that this model had been discontinued by then. ................ BC

I believe this wheel will except single or dewl rotors, they make a hub cap for single disc. when I went to the h-d sight it got confusing and it looked like there was a different rotor for this wheel, but the more I read into the discription the rotor is for more of a dressing up rotor for this wheel. thanks for your help.
