Default B16 or H16 tyre?

Sporty rear tyre is 150/80 B16. What difference is an H16 and can it be used instead?

Don't know for sure on your side of the pond, (since you drive on the wrong side of the road - LOL), but here there is no such thing as an H16.

You can have a B16 (bias ply) or R16 (radial) tire. A B16 is standard on Sportsters.
Following the B16 or R16 designation, an H would indicate a speed rating of 130mph / 210 kph

Sorry, but your link only takes me to an entire catalog, not a specific tire.

You may need to call the seller directly and get them to clarify the listing. I've seen other sites like this who use incomplete designations in their web listings.

Tell them you want is a:
Brand (whatever)
Rear tire
150/80-16
Bias Ply
Speed Rating H

Thanks for that. So what am I asking clarification for...like "Will the Hi-Max fit on a Sporty?", sort of thing.

For that specific Maxxis tire the size is correct, simply confirm that it's a Bias Ply tire.
(At that cheap price, I'd bet it is)

I'm not sure what the load rating is on that tire but it should be in the PDF.
