Default Front turn signal relocation question...

I bought the HD front turn signal relocation kit that moves the turn signals down to the lower part of the forks. I was very pleased with the look of it.......UNTIL.....

I saw an iron online with the turn signals relocated on the upper part of the forks, only difference was that they didn't stick out at ALL. The HD relocation kit makes them stick out i'd say about 4inches. The iron I saw online had the turn signals literally right next to the forks. Anyone know how what part they used for that??? Thanks a lot!!

there is a thread in this forum on how to make your own kit that sits relatively flush. It's titled something along the line of $5 + labor turn signal kit.

Its basically 3/8 threaded rod retapped on one end to 5/16, and some nuts. And it replaces the pinch bolts where the forks go through the triple clamp

I just bought some front turn signals at the yunkjard like this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/251000383380...ht_4854wt_1026

While they were made to go on the handlebars, I'm going to simply bolt them to the forks. I like it so much I'm going to put them on the back as well, and wire them for running lights.

I copied Chad1200 and used Drag Specialties part number 2020-0347.
Super simple and not at all like HD's outriggers. Do a search on Chad1200 and he has a picture. Sweet!
