Cool man! I give you props for doing this stuff yourself. I don't know how much prior experience you had, but you can't really make it more "your own" than doing it yourself.
Very cool. Some guys fret over bolting on a few store-bought doodads. You passed a big threshold. That one where you pick up some tools and dive right in realizing full well, "Man, if I mess this up I'm so screwed." Big props!!!

haha thanks, yeah i pretty much dove right in. I have more than enough tools to do the job and I have worked on cars and trucks on my own before but never bikes. I was a little afraid to start working on it at first but i figured if i screwed up it would be a learning experience and i would have all winter to fix it anyway.
Cool deal.. So far I like where it is going. I spent all my money trying to keep a jeep together at your age. Projects like this and my jeep deal keep youngsters out of trouble. Well, atleast you won't be off-roading on the bike anyways.
what are you doin with the air cleaner? btw good stuff. I'm in the middle of doing mine now.
I just had it off since i was cleaning the bike, but eventually I think im going to do something like this, if that was what your question was directed at.
