Default Riveting 101

I'm sending my rear fender off to powder coat. Already have all the bushings, cable ties, etc. off the fender. All that is left are six rivets...4 that hold the plastic fender extension and two (one each) for these wire crimp bushing combination things.

I'm pretty mechanically inclined so I'm sure this will be a breeze but wanted to seek advice here first. I've never dealt with rivets before. What is the easiest way of removing them? Also, any recommendations for a tool(s) to install new ones once I get the fender back on?

Thanks in advance.

Use a rivet tool for the new ones. Drill the old ones out. I hate hate hate rivets!

Use a 1/8" drill bit on the head and they will drop out. Use aluminum rivets and a gun to re-install.
