Debating on selling my Nightster....

With the impending end of my military contract looming over my head in the near future I have been looking at my upcoming finances to see how much I can save. The fact is once my contract is up I will be moving from the Seattle area to the Philadelphia area where I will be attending college. After looking at my expenses and how much I'll be able to save between now and then it doesn't seem like it will be enough. With selling my Nightster I could free myself of my existing bills and save a lot more money. I don't want to sell it at all and would love to avoid it but, with the future expense of moving across country and having to find a place to stay since the college doesn't have student housing. I am a little worried that I will not have enough money to cover everything. What do you guys think on this matter I would love your input.

[QUOTE=06Sporty75;9412208]"Iran making trouble in the middle east" Iran, a country that hasn't Invaded another country in over 200 years. Oh, that's Rich....
I can cause loads of trouble for my neighbors, all from the comforts of my own house. Just because they're not invading. Does not mean that they aren't stirring the pot.
Any way, You guys might wanna take your political arguments before poor Aaron gets his thread locked!

If you truly love the bike, then keep it, get it to Philadelphia and re-evaluate your situation after a month of so. You can always try to sell it there.

College is more important than a bike.
If keeping it is going to cause too much financial stress, let it go, you can always buy another when you graduate.
Are you making payments on it? If not, maybe it'd save to leave it in storage, drop the insurance to fire and theft, something like that?

Street I posted the story with that on the first page at that point the tank wasn't even mounted it was just sitting on the backbone of the frame. I do know quite a bit about the Post 9/11 GI bill but, that takes time to come into effect once you start the paper work to get anything from it. Yes you do get E5 with dependents BAH rate for the area you are living in once it does kick in. My concern isn't that it won't cover my expenses. I am concerned about the time between my ETS and the time till the GI bill kicks in. Right now I am ahead of payments by nearly a year and have about $2k left on the loan.
