Wow! Great photos, Bert. Thanks. So HD can still build a hot rod when they want to. I guess they don't show it in the US of A fearing it'd take a lot of the VRSC buyers away. All I know is:

I WANT ONE!!!

Right now they are only releasing the XR1200 in Europe but I am sure it will come to the USA eventually.

Problem is with the American's mindset about HD (and I am American (retired USA Army) so don't think I am downing the USA!). For so long some ignorant American's (usually RUBs or posers who ride about 100 miles a year) who ride other models of HD have talked bad about them (and I am sure you know what I mean) and have forgotten, or never knew, that the Sportster is the original Superbike.

HD I am sure have done marketing studies which show that the USA is not quite ready for this bike. But the Europeans are more into function over fashion with their bikes and that is what the XR1200 is...a pure, no nonsense, fun to ride....MONSTER!!!

The V-ROD also sells better in markets outside the USA for the plan fact that many HD enthusiasts in the USA are stuck on air cooled Big Twins and don't consider anything other than a BT a REAL Harley. [:-][sm=insomnia.gif]
