Does anyone else hate the risers on the customs?

Yep, mine is a 98. Hey guys, I realize that some people like the look of the stock risers, and some don't like risers at all. For me, I am building it the way I like, and very happy with it so far. That's the beauty of sportsters, so easy to make them your own, and we all have different tastes.

I used to like it with my 32" drag bar, but now I am in the process of removing it...overall I think is a nice part (keeps all these cables well hidden), it is Custom's trademark, I used to get nice compliments from fellow sportster riders about that riser - speedo part...but after two years, it is time for change...

I have an '06 with the "pullback" riser too, I think it looks OK since I put on drag bars, looked weird with the stock bars. On the other hand, I don't think I could run the drags and be comfortable without some kind of pullback, so I'm living with it for now.
I do think the curved riser on the rubbermounts looks even worse with apes, it puts a weird angle in there between the bars and the forks.
