I couldn't find a price at Rush. How much are they?

You can always get her a set of Rush slip ons. Nice quality and selectable baffle size. Get the 2" model to start.

Everyone seems to really like the way they sound. I have a couple of friends that heard mine and ordered a set.

I installed CycleShack Slip ons (taper cut) on my 06 883L Good pipes for the price. I was able to order them online, $119 including freight. I recently finished the Stage 1, but I ran for around 4,000 miles just with the slip ons. They sounded pretty good to me. At first they were a bit tinny, and raspy sounding, but after a few hundred miles of carbon build up they mellowed out nicely.
Now, after the Stage 1 I did a week or so ago. They sound AWESOME!!!

I have Screamin Eagles on my XL883C with a Stage 1. Boy, are those pipes loud! In town folks on the sidewalk, 25/30 yds ahead of me, are turnin round to see whats making the noise. If it's true that loud pipes save lives these will do the job [sm=smiley20.gif].

We put Cycle Shack slip ons on both our Sporties. She has slash cut and I have turn-outs. The slash cuts are louder but mine have just a hint more low rumble (bass tones). Both are good quality Harley sounds.
There are certainly some better options available but for the money, its hard to beat these for overall performance, sound quality, and volume.
I keep my stock mufflers in a box tucked away (just in case). You never know when you might want or need to put your stock mufflers back on. I considered punching the baffles but then I would have to jump through flaming hoops to get some replacement (unmodified) stock mufflers to defend a fix-it ticket. So I looked at picking up a set of take-offs from Ebay or other source. Decided against it. For a few dollars more I can get a new set of CS slip ons.
With the CS slip ons I get volume, a little performance boost, and the piece of mind knowing I have the originals in the garage for a rainy day.
