Is $200 dollar forward control kit on eBay a good deal?

$200 for a set of forward controls, and you are thinking it should be less?
c'mon, man.

No I just want to make sure I'm not paying $200 for a kit when maybe all I need is a bracket and some type of linkage that I could buy from somewhere for cheap. After hearing wurms comment and a few others though I decided to go the opposite route and spend decent money on a kit, just can't imagine putting my life in the hands of some cheap piece of metal.

yeah, when it comes to motorcycles, quality! Quality!!, QUALITY!!! Once I bought a cheap set of turn signals, they were from a local shop but they were still less than $20, less than a year later the insides were corroded almost to the point of not working, i guess I should have greased them. Still better than the cheap crap from Hong Kong on EBay, most the time that stuff is such junk that you can't even install it without it falling apart. Half The LED's go bad after a few months.
