Default First Harley: 2003 XLH883

Hello all! I just picked up my first bike on Saturday. Its an '03 XLH883 with just over 17k on it. I have a few plans for the bike and I just look forward to riding it in warmer weather!
Here she is just after getting loaded on the trailer.

and after I removed the saddle bags, highway bar, luggage rack and windshield.

I am super pumped to get to wrenching on this thing and tailoring to my preferences!

Welcome to this fine HDForum from San Diego, CA

I'm assuming you are not planning on taking any long, or overnight trips,(since you have removed the saddlebags and windshield). Why not remove the sissy bar since you don't have a 2up seat or passenger pad, and it sounds like you won't need it to mount a sissy bar bag on it either.

I really like the emblem on the side of the tank.

Nice. Lose the sissy bar though, it spoils the look. I bought one last week. 2003 Anniversay model with 9000 miles. Good luck with it.

Nice bike. I got an 883 in August, and I love it. They are a lot of fun.
