Amazing what a few simple things can do to change the look of the bike....

It'll look cool with a set of drag bars I think ;-)

Consider selling those anniversary parts (tank & fenders) on Ebay vs. painting them. There are others out there paying high prices for the 100 year stuff. I have sold some of the extra items from my Ultra for big bucks.

Congratulations! I picked up my first Harley in November 2011...2003 883R with about 9,400 miles. I've been giving it some TLC over the winter and can not wait to use it as my new daily commuter! Very similar to yours...windshield and backrest. I removed them both first thing and passenger pegs too. I am really digging the orange color and cherkboard logo on gastank. Thinking of puting on fork boots. Enjoy the new ride!
