I exclusively wear Gateway Starlite safety glasses. Clear at night, gray during daylight hours and amber on cloudy days. I wear contacts and have zero issues with dry eyes. These things ROCK and you can't beat the price.

We also don't enforce helmets, we put more inmates to death than any other state and we're allowed to kill people that come on our property or into our house.... And even our neighbors if they're not there. What are you complaining about? lol

I wear wileyx sunglasses that have interchangeable lens for day and night. Plus they seal around my eye and are ballistic rated.

Ugly goggles from Captain Itch in the day, clear glasses with the pads to block the wind at night.

I wear Sunglasses with foam around the eyes to protect against debris and wind when I ride around town, then I have a Full Face for the long high speed rides. Looking into getting A German Style tho. Especially since its starting to get closer to the 100's and the humidity is already high...

I ride a lot. A lot of night riding, long trips.
Still looking for the perfect glasses.

I have had a few pair of Harley transitional glasses and I bought a pair of discontinued profiles for $39 that are smaller than most of them and a bit square looking but they have been very good. Bought them in Du Bois, PA two years ago. I made an 8,000 mile trip on the Road King in 2012 and 10,000 on the Ultra Limited in 2013 and wore the same glasses for the whole time. They are still like new.

The price of them at Harley is pretty ridiculous at $90 to $150. I'm okay with the darkness of them. $300 is insane if they are the same basic thing that breaks before you get your moneys worth out of them.

I don't like having light and dark glasses to keep up with but that is probably the best way to go. I did that for a couple of years in 2010 and 2011.

I believe the next plan will be to look for the best night glasses and also the best day glasses in a reasonable price range and go that route again. Last time I got some online that were $19.

Interchangeable lenses seem like a waste of time.

What is the best eyewear in rain?

I had a good pair of leather backed goggles that got pretty scratched up on a 14,000 mile trip to Alaska. I think I could say I got my money out of them on that trip but did not replace them.

Riding Sun glasses for day, they are regular glasses only they have a foam gasket on the inside that sits against your face to stop air from going in your eyes, For Night, I use a cheap pair of clear safety glasses.

My half helmet has a drop down eye visor, and I love it!
