I broke down a couple years ago and bought some transitional glasses from the stealer. I REALLY like the fact one does both. Granted, they do not darken as much as a "fixed" lens, though only have to carry one pair.
After smashing, breaking, and dismembering a number of clear and tints while in my pockets- I came to the conclusion it would be cheaper to buy a pair of transitions.
That's what I did. I got the pair that has the removable foam. Very nice.
Now, I wear prescription glasses under a 3/4 helmet with a dark tint shield. If I get caught out at night, I flip the shield up and use my prescription glasses. I'm intrigued by the goggles over glasses for the times I wanna use my brain bucket.
I ride a 3/4 lid with prescription glasses. Save your $ on having goggles made (not to mention having to put your glasses somewhere with our being broken. It will also get annoying taking them on and off. Trust me. ) Google over glasses goggles. I grabbed mine for about $20+shipping (I remember it being cheep) they come with one tented and one clear lens that are easy to swap in and out. They are safty certified not to brake in an accident. I'm posting pics later.
Thanks for the info. Found quite a few Goggles over Glasses. Seems like the way to go.
1/2 helmet and no helmet I wear yellow sunglasses. The sunlight doesn't bother me during the day and I can still see good at night. $10 bucks at a flea market for ones with padding that stick to my face and don't let air in.
I have a 1/2 helmet. I wear Dewalt shop glasses. They are tinted but not to dark for night riding. They were on sale on black Friday at Home Depot for $10. 1/2 off
