I ride a 3/4 lid with prescription glasses. Save your $ on having goggles made (not to mention having to put your glasses somewhere with our being broken. It will also get annoying taking them on and off. Trust me. ) Google over glasses goggles. I grabbed mine for about $20+shipping (I remember it being cheep) they come with one tented and one clear lens that are easy to swap in and out. They are safty certified not to brake in an accident. I'm posting pics later.

I got tired of carrying sunglasses/goggles to fit all occasions and went with the retro shield for my Bell 500. Now, I can just wear sunglasses during the day and put them away when the sun goes down.

I broke down a couple years ago and bought some transitional glasses from the stealer. I REALLY like the fact one does both. Granted, they do not darken as much as a "fixed" lens, though only have to carry one pair.
After smashing, breaking, and dismembering a number of clear and tints while in my pockets- I came to the conclusion it would be cheaper to buy a pair of transitions.

Prescription sunglasses from RidersEye during the day. Don't ride much at night, too many deer.

Half helmet and dress for the occation.. Sunglasses for day and yellow lens glasses for night or even clear safety glasses. I think it depends on how sensitive your eyes are to the wind if you need regular shades or a pair with foam on the edges.

In the Winter I wear a 3/4 helmet with clear shield and sunglasses underneath if needed. I the summer I wear a 1/2 helmet and have a pair of HD glasses with interchangeable frames that work fine. I did go with the pair that has foam edges just to keep my eyes from drying out.

I am neer-sited my drivers licence says i must were perscription glasses . I bought a pare of RayBan frames online for $70 and paid $50 for some photo gray transisonal lens . They block the wind good and won't blow off . dark in the sun, clear at night .
