Default THE CLEANEST WIRE TUCK IN THE WORLD. v. My 48

just completed my cleanest wire tuck. Only used 3 zip ties total, and some light electrical tape. I dont think it gets much cleaner than that. You can practically see baby jesus face right through that gap.

Texff: It looks like he has a 2in lift on the tanks, It does look extremely clean. I actually just sold my Iron and I'm shopping around for a 48.

1) Is there anyway to tuck the wires without a tank lift?
2) if not what the smallest lift in order to have such a clean look.
Thanks

You can tuck without a tank lift but your going to have to solder the wires together most likely since the connectors probably won't fit. Don't quote me on that though I'm just speaking from experience with doing the tuck on mine with a lift.

No doubt that is the cleanest wire tuck I have seen, and I've done dozens myself and seen hundreds. Very cool.

On a 48 you can do a wire tuck with no tank lift and no soldering. It is tight, but it will fit. With a 1.5" lift it is pretty easy on a 48.

Here is a link to lots of pics, instructions & videos on wire tucks.

Yes you can do a wire tuck on a 48 without a tank lift and without soldering any wires, here are some pictures of mine to prove the point!

Nice! I was gonna call BS after re-doing mine during PC-V install, but the damn wires that run down the left down tube are too short by quite a bit so I fail. Also not sure my throttle cables would reach too well.
