Default Vintage Full-Face (for the 48)?

'afternoon everyone,

I'm looking to buy a helmet (I think I've made the decision to go full-face) and want one that will fit with the vintage style of the 48. I've seen most all of the 3/4 ones out there (Bell 500, etc.) but am more interested in some retro looking full-faced helmets... looking around the 'net, I haven't found much, so I figured I'd see if anyone else had had any luck?

Also, and not to hijack my own thread, but I'm also looking for a jacket to fit the theme, as well. Something like this...

http://triumph.motohio.com/eshopprod...ord_Jacket.htm

(Triumph, cough, cough)

...anyone else find something similar that they'd recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Bought the 500 then custom painted it. With rhe bubble shield it looks pretty retro. Also it is very low profile and comfortable. Look at Schott leather jackets. Made in USA and very cool.

Almost every biker show I have been to had a vintage helmet stand there, Im not sure where you are from but go to a good sized bike show and you might have some luck.

Check out Eternal Combustion, they have a couple vintage looking full face lids.

hey, just as freeboy mentioned you could get a face shield (stationary OR flip-up) from Bell for their line of 500 helmets......

I have the Bell 500 and I think they're functional and very retro looking. However, they're 3/4. If you're looking at full face, the Bell Vortex B54 have some cool graphics that have an old-skool look while still maintaining the more modern helmet features.

Check this company out: http://nexx-usa.com/Scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=24, the leather covered ones are nice and might just be what you are looking for.

I have 4 Bell custom 500's with Biltwell bubble shields. Also had a friend pin strip them for me. Well, 1 of them is a Skratch garage painted special edition. Here is a picture of 2 of my 4!
