It was flashed with a new download from Harley and is effectively called a remap. They are normally reserved for Stage 1 upgrades with SE slip on pipes, but the download worked fine with the V&H slip ons so that is where we left it. If it didn't run well there, we were going to add a race tuner and tweak it while running it on the dyno, but things went well with the remap (flash). I don't plan on tweaking this one from here so there was no point in my buying a SE Race Tuner $$$. Hope that answers your Q:

Yes, that answers the question 100%. I was curious because I didn't think remap's typically raised the rev limit, while yours was raised. Overally, it seems that the setup you have on the bike is working very well together. Congrats.

Thanks for the post. What did the dealer charge for the dyno time? Although I have not dyno'ed mine yet, I would guess a similar increase with the V&H and SE-AC and SERF. However, my MPG is now is the very low 40s (40 and 42 respectively). Some of that might be attributed to the intoxicating sound and throttle response, some due to 75-80 freeway riding.

I am ordering the Mustang Solo seat, installing saddlebags and then "I AM DONE." Taxes paid to-date about $1400.

Planning to ride cross country this summer and take in Sturgus, Black Hills, etc...The goal is to stay off the 4 lanes and enjoy some great back-roads.

No riser changes at all, and the bars are stock narrow width drags from your HD dealer. They clear the tank on both sides with 1/2" or so to spare, and the look is killer. I couldn't pick it up today so my dealer is delivering the bike to me tomorrow where I will take some better pictures and a video.

Nothing much at all. They actually ran the bike twice and the labour to install the stage 1, slip ons, drag bars, and forward controls totalled about 6 hours. This included the dyno time and some free tweaking, as this was one of the first 2007 XL's they had the chance to play with and they benched some of their own time against this for R&D purposes. The SERT was not required as the HD Flash was all the bike needed, and it seems to like the flash if you weigh in the 15hp gain.

Total cost was about 1800.00 Canadian for everything mentioned including all parts, and the bling. I might have to meet you in the black hills as I too plan to ride to Sturgis with a couple guys from my neck of the woods. I'll keep you posted. Cheers
