I have the quick-detach windshield and use it during our "bug season" from mid-May though most of June. Works great, but I prefer riding without it after the "bug season". You'll like it...

Bought this http://www.jpcycles.com/product/ZZ75...FcPAKgodBXeSrQ for the wifes bike.Cheap (cost) and small but looks good IMO and does the job.
She had one for her Honda and now her Sporty.Got the clear.

Took the plunge and placed the order with Surdyke.

For those that have the 57838-08, did you follow the instructions for relocating the clutch and throttle cables (stock bar peeps) or were you able to mount it with no probs?

I was able to get it on without changing anything.

Thanks. That's what I figured, but the instructions have you pulling the switch housings apart for some reason......
