Sorry, I missed the OTD including the alarm. Deal seems pretty good to me. The other thing my dealer did was give me a store credit for parts or motor clothes. That's another angle to try.

First off, thank you all for the input!

Secondly, no, (unfortunately) that is before tax, title, and license.

Ask them to throw in a battery tender...normally not a big deal on other bikes. Save you some aggravation of installing one yourself as it is a pain in the butt installing one on a sporty. Seems like the negative post was the starting point and the bike was built around it... :-)

Oh yikes.. see OTD to me usually means all that included. You better work on some better pricing. I had less than 10500 with everything.

Dealers aren't as inclined to drop under MSRP on a brand-new bike as they are on a used or even new-not-current bike. If you don't pay MSRP for it, the next guy will. I'd pay more attention to what you can get them to stick on it or give you store credit for. I am 2 inches too short to flatfoot my Road King, so I used that as leverage and the dealer bought the Reach Seat for me. Also threw in a helmet for my wife and put a full tank of gas in it. That's over $500 of free stuff on a 5-year-old bike that I paid under Blue Book for. I don't care where you're from, I call that a deal.

Why don't you try the opposite of what others have been saying. Buy $10,500 worth of t-shirts and see if they'll throw in a 48 for free. That would be a great deal. Then you could donate the shirts to Goodwill and write them off on your taxes.

Yeah, got the same price on my 2010 (10,499) with the security system and 1000 mile maintenance thrown in. Not a totally bad idea to negotiate accessories since it's a good deal for the dealer as was previously said their cost is probably pennies on the dollar for what you'd pay otherwise.
