Default Removing sissy bar plates on 00 Sporty......

Im sure many have removed their sissy bar side mounting plates.

What all is involved, can this be done easily? I may occasionally want to reinstall for passenger use once in a while.

If I'm understanding your question correctly, there are nuts on the insides of the fender that the bolts run in to. Put a wrench on the nut, socket and bit into the sissy bar bolt, and remove.

That's what I was thinking from giving it a quick look.........

However, I came across a couple posts talking about putting the bike on a jack, unboltling the shocks and messing with the turn signals......just didn't seem like all that was needed, maybe they were referring to a newer bike???

Just a couple of bolts. They do have a quick detach option also if you want to be able to quickly remove, install, etc
