Default RE: Air filter

I love my ham can and bought the SEII air filter kit.Did a rejet and all is cool.I didn't use the screaming eagle insert though because I have the skull insert on my bike.If anyone wants the SE insert they can have it for the cost of shipping.Forum members only.

Default RE: Air filter

I recently went with the Screamin Eagle.
I don't know about now, but the early SE filter for rubbermounts had some serious quality problems. Basically, many people had their air filters develop pin holes. You can only imagine where the missing pieces of air filter ended up and the types of dirty they allowed through those big openings. Basically, they were pieces of crap. The solidmount SE's were very good with the air filters being made by K&N. So be careful. There were suppose to be revisions to solve the problems, but I don't know how that turned out.

I've also heard that from prior to 04, I haven't heard any complaints with the S/E this the rubber mount bikes.
