Get the J&S... at some point you will get a bigger bike, and the J&S will do the job and last a lifetime and beyond.

I got mine at the local auto parts store. Works very well. Just don't ever forget to strap it down. It may balance and look good, but put some effort in a wrench and down it will go.

lifting my 1200Low off the jiffy stand, I recommend it if you are going to working alone. very stable.
Fully agree...It is a little high on the $$ side, but the quality and the capability of this jack is just what you pay for. I use it on my 1200L, no straps, fully stable, and I think it jacks to about 18" high. Love my J & S Jack.

make sure whatever jack you get has a saftey latch to take pressure off the hydraulic if it's going to be on there for a while. I've read too many horror stories on here about that failing.
The J & S Jack has nothes that you can relieve pressure off the cylinder pump. My Bike is always on the jack when I'm done riding, plus, i can move it around my garage very easy, with no straps. Bike is very Stable!
