This is what they told me....not much help really.

Thank you for your interest in our product, we do not recommend you trying it on your 2000 sportster because we are unsure on what modifications you will need to do. The wiring may be different and the location of the license plate may also be different.

Last night I followed the advice of D2moto and pulled on the turn signal connectors very hard and broke both wires. I still haven't figured out how to remove the pin from the second connector (that bastard won't move). So now, one of the turn signal cable is just sitting on the connector, and just to make my life better, the new bracket for the lens broke again (the tread of the left bolt holding the lens onto the rear fender broke). So, I have to tape the taillight, figure out how to properly connect the turn signals, and remove the old ones. Oh and btw, the turn signal don't blink - they just stay light.
