Like was said he would be getting the bike for $12,740 if that payment has all the tax and doc fees in it already. To me that is not a great deal, but not the worst I have head of. I pay cash for my bikes so to me a payment on a bike is just dumb as it's a toy. I have 2 cars, a truck and a bike and only one payment on the 2012 Car. I think there are better deals out there so maybe hit a few more dealers.

This was not the original quote= $157 but i beat them down (i used to sell cars)

Do you guys think this is a good deal?

Thanks
I believe it.
No mention of the actual cost of the new bike, or what he's trading in and its real street value. 12.5% interest is crazy unless he has a crappy credit rating.

Yup banks do 6.0-6.1% for a £7500 loan. so might be better getting a loan from the bank.
if you go for a loan under £7499 it is like 6.5% so works out cheaper going for the £7500 loan.

Edit: That is in the UK. I should of said.

The bike is $12,332 total out the door.. that is with the goodies. without goodies $11,493 out the door.. I called another HD dealer and he gave me less on trade but more off bike, so I saved $200 but would have to drive 2 hours to save $200.. The final # is what counts.. He is trying to get approved through a credit union that said they will do 7%.. so we will see... his credit is banged up.. I am done dealing.. It is not even my bike, just trying to help a buddy out.. The local HD guys around here can be hard to deal with because we have year-round riding weather and the sell so many bikes.. but my buddy is happy so I am happy

DUH!!! ditto
The Gent that sold me my HD paid $12000 for a $7500 bike after the financing fees. He turned the wheels no more than 300 miles. I got it for $6125, and had to sell my first heavy bike, A Yamaha, to get the cash.
I paid $6125 for a $6000 bike and he paid $12000 for a $7500 bike.
The rest is up to you.
BTW dont pay more than 6% for financing.

Unless his credit score is quite poor, that interest rate is way to high.
