Did you figure out what was causing this? I just had my 5000 mile service and now I'm getting 24 mpg I was getting about 40. All my driving is city stop and go but still I shouldn't be getting this low. What the heck could it be?

From the HD dealership. A guy sent me a map with a similar set up and I tried that but no dice. I'll have new plugs tomorrow and replace the air filter I guess.

come on already, you need to shift out of second gear. I`ll admit this was before the E-10 stuff but driving my brand new bike home I was getting 49 MPG because Sunoco 260 was 48.9/gal
