I agree that something sounds fishy with only 20+ mpg. I would do as others suggested and check for mileage (although with your 35 mile checks you sound pretty close). Have some concrete data to take in to the dealership who did your upgrades and they should be able to fix the problem. Plus at 400 miles, you're still under warranty.

For the OP. Do you even have a clue on how to measure gas milage on any vehicle? fwiw, it is neither the light or the gauge.

He's doing it right. Read post #17 (his second post) and tell us what's wrong with his calculation.

Any idea if PC V gets better mileage?
Mine had 650 miles on it when it was replaced.

Have you ever actually got out and did some riding other than stop and go in town traffic? It's a good possiblity that your crappy mileage is from all that stop and go and idling in traffic. Especially being that you're in Los Angeles. I've had a similar thing happened when in alot of traffic in Florida once. Fill it up and get out on the freeway or some highways with little traffic and just run it. Then if you get crappy mileage you definitely have something wrong.

You do know that the abbreviation for Louisiana is LA, seeing as you live there. He should be getting 30+ in stop and go for that matter as well.

That is a good point, only a little difference in shipping charges, lol ! His location does have it like I would assume the State not the city though.
