Lifetime oil filters ...any good?

Default Lifetime oil filters ...any good?

Saw this one on e-bay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHROME-HARLE...item2c6229b601

Anyone have experience/stories about these?

Never even heard of them. I don't use synthetic either. Regular oil, regular filter, regularly. I would never trust lifetime anything. Even wives fail in marriage. Think about it.....

I've never seen anything actually last a lifetime. I'm more than willing to spend $15 every oil change to ensure it's done right.

It is probably more accurate to call it a washable filter. The filter comes apart and inside is a 25 micron metal screen and rare earth magnets.

It will save you money if you put a butt load of miles on a bike, but it your only changing oil once or twice a year I dont see the point. The preminum oil filters from HD are only $9.
