*** I wonder why sportys get such a bad rap...I knew early HA rode them...maybe many don't know that.

I have no problems either. I guess SLOnoey and I are not like "most" chicks. I would not worry about what others think of you or your bike. I do not let people disturb my peace.

when i was riding my sporty 30 yrs ago the only girlie comment i got was from wannabees with NO BIKE

I agree that Sporties, though rewarding, are not the easiest bikes to ride. Any one who rides one successfully, guy or gal, is a capable motorcyclist in my mind. Perhaps the Fat Boy-girl found a Sporty just too demanding so moved on to a 'softer option'. I was aware of the 'girlie' issue before I bought mine. I have had nothing but admiration for the machine from biker guys I have met. Some people talk such a lot of crap about any subject that comes out of their mouth so that might explain it! As for comfort - no bike is as easy as a car. To complain about the ride is as much about tolerance levels anyway, than a particular model. Of course we are all lumpy and bumpy in different places so that affects comparisons too!
