A couple of days ago I won a 18" 40H rim, so I'll be lacing that up soon too. I need to find one more rim and then I need to find a someone good at truing a wheel. I used to do it for my bmx bike back in the day, but I wasn't hitting 90mph on it so I'm more than a bit hesitant to true it myself.

well you can lace it without the stand but you'd need a truing stand to dial it in. same concept though bro, if you can true a bmx wheel you can true a m/c wheel.

That race cup appears to have some what I call road hammer.. pressure marks, you might want to replace it while you have it down.

I'll take a look. I didn't clean the bearing grease so that may just be residual marks from where the rollers sat.

So I started pulling apart the wiring harness, getting rid of all the braided sleeve and electrical tape and the wire loom. I can probably knock this out solo but I would feel a bit more comfortable with someone who's done it before around.

If anyone in the SD area feels like coming down to Chula to help re-wire the sporty feel free to hit me up. My plan is to clean everything off the bars and relocate the turn signal switch, horn to a new location and switch to a car style key ignition.

Beer and good deployment stories from the Stan provided.

Default Some progress today

Picked some stuff up from powder on Friday evening. Made some progress today with the help of a buddy of mine. Finished painting the engine, primary and a couple bits and started re-assembly, getting the motor back in, forks put back together and some other misc stuff. Really dig the look with the black trees and lowers.

The new headlight is freaking ****!

Need to figure out a way to mount it though becasue as it sits now it can't tilt forward.

Had to stop early because I have to make a cake for my baby girl's b-day tomorrow. Priorities right.....?
