Well sports fans the year 2011 is over, now the question is what’s your best, worst and ugliest thing about you and your bike for the last year?

I’ll start,

Good: Got a gigantic windshield, trimmed around the aux lights and added skirting which gave me room for a real glove box, so I added a $100 leather box behind the windshield for lots of stuff.

Bad: Almost got creamed by an idiot who did not look before pulling in front of me, don’t know how but I avoided a collision but not the shakes after it.

Ugly: Moved into a neighborhood under constant construction, the roads are the worst with crap everywhere, I hate it.

Good: I GOT MY FIRST HARLEY! ha

Bad: I crashed a Buell.

Ugly: The left side of my jacket after the crash and the speedometer on my sporty.

 

Good: Bought my sportster, my first motorcycle

Bad: crimped some wiring accidently, fixed it right away but it was an annoying hitch.

Ugly: Dropped my bike, no damage but it sucked. Almost got hit a few times.

 

Good: Had a great ride on the last day of 2011.

Bad: On my last ride of 2011, I was greeted by a huge pitbull who was intent in running me out of my lane and off the road. He ran along side of me on my left side, I slowed some to throw off his geometry, he kept merging into my lane, and bumped into my left footpeg, and boot, I rolled on the throttle, and left him in the dust. no barking, no teeth. It was like he was trying to push me off the road onto the shoulder.

Ugly: Last ride of 2011 could have been ugly........

 

Good: Got me a 2010 Ultra with only 7,500 miles on it. The original owner had added around $2,500 in mods and I got it for $17,500.

Bad: The reason I got the 2010 is because I totaled my 99 EG.

Ugly: Bad road rash on both elbows and a big hematoma on my left hip which still hurts like hell.

 

GOOD: Bought my first street bike, '94 sportster 1200, been wanting a Sporty for a couple years now and finally convinced the wife to let me buy a bike!
...also got my bike back to running condition before the end of the year, so I got to ride it all day New Years Eve

BAD: Some dirtbag knocked my bike over while it was parked on the street at my apartment, while I was at work. My neighbor called me and I had to leave work early to go help him pick it back up, who knows how long it was laying on its side.

UGLY: Getting stranded in the middle of the Desert on my birthday ride. My Voltage Regulator went bad and my battery decided to lose the last of its charge when I stopped for a picture. Managed to jump it by attaching my bros battery and then quickly detaching it and reattaching my dead one. Made it home 2 hours late for Bday dinner plans.

 

GOOD: Bought my first Harley

BAD: Went into $4500 debt to do it.

UGLY: Tore my ACL in september playing volleyball and then 1 month later almost broke the same leg in a head to head collision on the bike, luckily no damage to the bike and no serious injury and no faults to me.

 

Wow riding a bike 1 month after tearing your ACL?? That's some really fast healing there. NFL players will pay you big money to learn how you did it and not take the 6 months of rehab an injury like that requires lol.

 

GOOD: had a helluva good time at a New Years Party

BAD: drank too much

UGLY: the sweat hog mama that was laying next to me when I woke up

 

Good: I still have a Harley

Bad: I almost got t-bones 5 times this year

Ugly: It's getting cold
