Default 2007 XL1200C Slip Ons

I bought a 2007 XL1200C that doesn't have crossover tubes on the mufflers. I currently have screaming eagle II slip on mufflers but I am looking for slip on mufflers that are louder. I can't find slip on mufflers that don't have the crossover ports on them. Who makes them without the crossover ports on them? I purchased a new set of Python III but they have the ports on them.

If you have the "original" SE II's, I would suggest keeping them, removing the stock baffles, and installing Big City Thunder baffles. I think you will like the sound improvement!

So someone took off the crossover pipe? The crossover is what the slip on's mount to so without it they will just be hanging fromt he head pipes-not good! I don't know of a slip on for a newer sporty that does not have the crossover bungs in them. You might just want to get a set of cheap drag pipes if you want it loud.

It runs like a scalded dog without the crossover pipes. I thinks it's faster than my road king. The screaming eagle II's say not for road use on them. I'll check into the big city baffles. Thanks.

Iinstalled the Big City Thunder Monster baffles in my Screaning Eagle II slip ons tonight. WOW, what a difference. It finally sounds like a Harley. It's really loud and sounds great going down the highway!! Thanks again Thumber26.
