Default Solid Rear Wheel on 2010 Iron???

Hi there, let me first start by saying I have searched this forum for this answer without much luck or exact information that I am looking for. Also I am new to motorcycles and just purchased a 2010 Iron 883 so please excuse my ignorance.

I want to install a solid rear wheel and from what I have read, my rear axle is 25mm and that older models are either 3/4" or 1".

My question is: Can a solid wheel be mounted on my Iron and what would I need to do to make that work since I couldn't find a solid wheel for my model year.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Buy the wheel you want and change out the bearings to fit your rear axle. You also need to make sure the width of the wheel is inline with what you have or you will need new spacers and that your drive pulley and brake rotor will fit.
