Default The tank I'm running on my ironhead

is almost done! Just needs paint but I have that covered. I can't paint for crap so I'm sending it to a friend in Ohio.

Started as a Paughco Porkster

The center piece left over makes a great "holder" for welding funky shaped pieces.

the mounts are hidden.

Here's what I'm sealing it with

I think this is pretty cool because I hate working with sheetmetal. I've modified quite a few tanks in the past but I've always tig welded them. That sucks because it takes so damn long but I mig welded this one. Much faster.

Thanks.

Very nice. Have you ever gone the other way with tanks? Stretch them or widen them to make them bigger?

No but I've done alot of fenders

I used Heritage Classic Softail fenders on my Suzuki but the Heritage fenders were too narrow

(spray paint by the way...this is my low-buck bagger)

I've done others for wide tire kits too but I can't find any pics right now. Widening a gas tank would essentially be the same job.

Your craftsmanship and abilities are the ONLY reason I'd move back to IN. Very nice work.
