The tank I'm running on my ironhead

is almost done! Just needs paint but I have that covered. I can't paint for crap so I'm sending it to a friend in Ohio.
Started as a Paughco Porkster

The center piece left over makes a great "holder" for welding funky shaped pieces.

I think this is pretty cool because I hate working with sheetmetal. I've modified quite a few tanks in the past but I've always tig welded them. That sucks because it takes so damn long but I mig welded this one. Much faster.

No but I've done alot of fenders
I used Heritage Classic Softail fenders on my Suzuki but the Heritage fenders were too narrow

I've done others for wide tire kits too but I can't find any pics right now. Widening a gas tank would essentially be the same job.
