Talking Finally finished (for a while)

Just got the T header installed. I was kind of worried about how it would look being black but I think it blends in nicely. Sounds sweet at idle with that low rumble. Not as loud as the SE slipons on the stock pipes. Looks a world of difference from when I got the bike.

Before.

And now.

Looks great now. That seat bothers me, but that's just ME. I'm sure you must do a lot of 2-up by the looks of it. Nice job.

I know, I'd rather have a solo, but my son rides with me while the wife has a solo on her bike. Had a Lepera two up seat that really looked nice, but was a PITA after about 150 miles, so it's gone.

Let us know what you think of the T-Header. Thinking this are the pipes I want to go to next year.

The seat is a crime. Otherwise, the bike looks good.

It's taking a little getting used to on my end. It's quieter than the slip on's and way quieter than the drag pipes I'm used to. The sound at idle is real deep compared to slip on's, but on the road it sounds pretty quiet. Probably cause the end of the pipe is so far back. I can actually hear the mechanical sounds of the engine now. Nice for the neighbors, still not sure I totally like it though. I always liked the two into two look, but this is starting to grow on me.
Performance wise, it's really hard to tell if there is any improvement over the slip on's because the bike seems so different sound wise. It feels like it's running at a higher rpm at any given speed if that makes any sense. I found myself putting along at 40 in 5th gear where as I used to downshift to 4th below 50. It may all be psychosomatic but I can't tell as I've never dyno'd it.

Yes it is, if your priority is riding and not creating garage art.
