Yeah it's not that big of a deal and just keep a large gas can or 2 in your garage/shed to help out big time.... Top off before heading out or after getting home. When I was growing up in the country that's how we did it.

Now this is a small peanut tank:

Custom peanut style gas tank. Holds about 3/4 of a gallon of gas, and it comes with frame mount hardware, gas cap, and petcock. We sell these tanks retail for $82 each.

Maybe a tank off one of those chineese 250cc bikes?

That Imperial tank looks cool.

I can see with those clip-ons that a smaller tank is in order. Wow, can't get much smaller than imperial, looks like, unless you go with a soup can.

You don't have a screw loose after all. Reading my mind here, bro....

60-70 miles is plenty to go from one bar to the other like he does.

I'd look into the Japanese tanks like somebody else suggested.

I just narrowed a 2.2 tank for my Honda chop. Send me one & I'll do one for you if you can't find anything. There are a couple ways. A couple of the tiny ones that Crazy Orange does are the same width at the top but pie cut & pinched narrower at the bottom...but here's how I did mine.

I guess I don't have any pics of it with the brass fuel cap & bung from Bung King and the petcock...but you get the idea. I also flat-bottomed it and made a frisco tunnel but I can do tunnels any depth. You'll need a 2.5" diameter tunnel for yours though.

And yeah, they're badass. Your bike needs one.

I agree, Mike. All the tanks I've found have too much needed to change to make it worth my while. I'd prefer a left side petcock, all I found are right side. Don't know how hard that would be to change. Most of them have too narrow of a tunnel. I like the mounts on your tank because I wanted to drill/tap the backbone for an easy install. I don't know what that vaccuum line does on the right side. I know some gas caps can eliminate the need for it. If I were to have you do something, what would be the cost and turn-around time on it? If I bought a tank, I would just have it shipped directly to you.

If you made that tank any smaller and narrower you would not be able to get a gas fill nozel in one to fill it up.
