Why is my rear wheel not centered?
Over the summer i noticed my turn signals were not working. after looking into the problem i realized my tire had rubbed through the wiring on the right leg side. i bandaid the issue and road until now where its time to address the problem for real.
after i looked into the problem, here is what i have found.
on my right leg side the gap from the tire to the outside of the fender is 1/2 inch. on my left leg side the gap from tire to outside of the fender is 1 inch. WTF?!?!
Here is right side
Here is left side
what could be causing this and how do i fix this. showed the dealer and the service guys guess was "maybe the bike has been dropped and the fender is out of whack".
dont think so. my fender is perfectly straight.
so now what?

On my bike, the rear tire alignment is right on the money, and the spacers are correct. I don't think mine is off that much, maybe a difference of 1/4 to 1/2 inch, but everything is the way it's supposed to be. On another note, I just noticed when the front wheel is straight, the speedo, which is behind the handlebar clamp on the custom, is not in line with the gas cap. Don't know which one is right, and don't really care. Go figure...
