Default Looking for "Knuckle" replacement part

Anybody know if or where I can find just this connector part (see attached picture) for the shifter bar of the forward control?

Broke into 2 pieces, but still worked fine until they took it apart to put in the new stator.

Thanks!

Any machine shops close by? I'm sure they can make that part.

Early sportys had mid controls and the later ('02 on) forwards used a Heim style rod end. Your shifter lever looks to be aftermarket and if it were me, I'd take it to a weld shop as my first move.

If it breaks again you could replace the shifter lever and rod end with HD parts from the later sportys. Any good machine shop could then make a new shifter rod to mate the threads on your new and existing parts.

The shiftter lever's spline pattern on the '93 and the '02 should be the same since the shifter shaft they mate to is the same part number: 34015-91 HarleyDavidson SHIFTER SHAFT, XL

Use Ronnies microfiche and parts finder ~ http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.....asp?make=hdmc ~ Move the parts to the cart and then make note of the HD part number.

Thanks to all. I tried calling betterlever & Conrad told me to try the local dealers, but looks like the indy shop operating on my Sporty can put a replacement piece together for not much.

Thanks again!
