My 15 dollar paint job is underway.

I have about 4 hours total in it so far and all I have to do is bolt on the tank. The paint was about 15 bucks. It's a labor of love after all... Didn't think about the helmet, but I am now.
Yeah, sorry floowmatt, the weather here is great right now. 76 deg and clear. I feel for you guys who have to sit and wait till winter moves on. Just remember, with the nice weather comes the snow birds who left their brain up north and they're driving around down here.
I'll get some pics up in a couple of days of the finished product.

Thanks man, I was actually thinking of it, but with fenders front and rear, I thought it might be a bit much. I was trying to go with the stealth effect like the nightster, except with chrome.

Looks great! Good for you man! I'm going through the same thing right now, for the most part. Took mine apart to switch to a bottom mount headlight, finished that, then swapped exhaust, finished that, switched to fork mounted front directionals, finished that, and took the tins off to swap the color out. The body shop is about 1/2 way through with the color change now. Picked out a pair of tank emblems from a 2012 Switchback, gotta order them tomorrow.
Gonna be a LONG winter.....
