Default Air shocks from a ultra classic?

Hi,

I have seen a few threads where people have put the shocks from a road king on their sportster.

I did a search but couldn't find anything that said whether or not shocks from an ultra classic will work.

So, will the air shocks from an 08 ultra work on my 02 sporty?

Thanks!

They are the same shock (same part # for RK and Ultra). People just call them "Road King" shocks for whatever reason. Those are the standard height air shocks.

You can check for yourself using this website:

There are also low profile (3/4" shorter if I remember right) shocks which are a little harder to find and usually cost more $$ to get that came on CVO and street glide models.

I've got lowered RK shocks on the GF's Nightster. They make a BIG difference AND they look cool all blacked out!!
