I wish I could try them on but I don't think anyone carries a single one where I live..damn that would be nice!

I have both the Bell custom 500 and the Biltwell hustler, size large in both. I also own a Shoei and a Fulmer also in large. The Biltwell is more comfortable and fits me better, and also exhibits less lift above 75 mph. It sits lower on my head and the sides fit snugger. Over all both are very well made , great fit and finish. See if you can try them both on to see..I know that a lot of HD dealers are stocking the Biltwell Hustler now

I also have the Bell 500 and it's a great helmet. Very comfortable. Does a good job of blocking out wind noise while still allowing you to hear what's going on around you. I have 2 basic gripes with the helmet. The first is that now that it's broken in, it's starting to lift a little above 70mph. It's only a little and I know it's secure to my head but when traveling at speed feeling the helmet lift up and inch is annoying. The first time, I had an image of the helmet sliding off the back of my head even though I know that would not happen because its a snug fit. The other is the quilting inside leaves a checkboard mark on my head (when I take it off). People look at me funny when I stop for a bite to eat looking like I could host an impromptu chess game while waiting in line. I really have no real complaints about the helmet, fits great, is comfortable, not too hot in the summer and fairly warm when it's cold. I do like the look of the Lick's though and may try one of those if I decide to get another 3/4.
