I Have had many Bells for motocross racing days and just love the quality. Now retired from mx racing and still will use their helmets for street riding. Really like the quality. I have never had a Licks or Biltwell yet, but think they have nice helmets. I just like the colors/metal flake and such that Bell is doing. If Licks/Biltwell would make a DOT metal flake helmet, I would buy one! Not into the the flat colors. My friend has a non-Dot helmet from Loser machine witch is way more metal flake and lighter, but gonna get a ticket with it.

I have 3 Daytona 3/4 helmets - Check them out.
My new favorite 3/4 is the Biltwell novelty, I have 2 of them.
Couple others you might want to look into that have not been mentioned are Arthur Fulmer and Rockhard

I got the Bell and the Licks.
The Bell feels much better in quality and comfort. But... It pulls back on my face when I get at like 70+ MPH. It does fit large so I would get a smaller size then your used to or trying them on first would be ideal.
The licks is low pro and light weight. Still pulls back on my face but not as much. Doesnt block the wind noise as much as the Bell. Looks better b/c of the low pro IMO. I ride with this one much more. But, its harder to get then the Bell. I waited quite a while for it to come in the mail. Were talking months. But iot looks like Licks has them in stock now.
Bottom line is, if I had to pick just one... I would go with the licks. Although the bell is a great helmet, I like the low pro, light weight, DOT helmet.
