Default Starting the big chop!! 2011 Iron

Hello all! Getting ready to start the chopping process on my '11 Iron and thought I would share the progress. I have owned the bike for 2 months and 2,600mi. When all is said and done I will only have a total of 260$ invested in the bike (beside cost of bike obviously) Biltwell struts are en route to my house (later on today) then I will begin the cutting process. I will update the thread as I progress!

Hey man thats a sweet bike and ya I agree that those bars are bada$$!! I just bought a 2009 nightster and the rear was chopped but now looks like the wifey really wants to ride, so Im going to have to add a rear fender....hey if you dont mind would you be willing to sell me the rear fender struts so I can weld them back on my bike?

Got the fender struts cut off and the biltwell's installed. Kind of digging the look of no rear fender. The stock pipes stick out like a sore thumb now though, trying to save up for the V&H Competition series but that will be a while

Probably going to wire up the tail lights and get the LP bracket fabbed up and cruise with no fender for a bit until I get bored, heres the current progress
